Dear Friends for Life,

We did it again! Today is Day 41.  We have completed another successful and peaceful campaign for life.  As of this morning, 310 babies and their mothers have been confirmed saved from abortion.  There will be more, as the reports come in from around the world.  On Tuesday, November 15, 40 Days will share the final results, the best stories, and key developments on the campaign wrap-up webcast!  You will be able to sign up for it when the notice goes out.

It is true that the number saved so far is lower than usual, but that is because, after Roe went down in June, 66 abortion facilities closed their doors.  Hundreds more babies are being saved, Praise God.  Reports have come in saying that over 10,000 babies have already been saved since the Supreme Court verdict.  The fight is not over, but we are winning.

Thanks to each and every one of you who came to vigil, prayed from home, had a mass said, or supported our efforts in any way.  We felt the love and support of your efforts.

Tomorrow is election day.  Abortion is not a political issue.  It is a moral issue.  Please watch this 17 minute homily by Fr. Chris Alar, who makes it crystal clear:

Please, please, get out and vote on Tuesday, and vote pro-life!  Lives and souls are at stake.  The family is in great jeopardy, as is our American way of life.  God created the family to be His love in the world.  We must fight to keep marriage and the family as God created them in His perfect plan for the world.

The last mass to elect pro-life leaders will be at the Fatima Shrine, 155 Washington St. in Brighton on Tuesday, November 8th at 10:30 am.

Harvard Law School Students for Life are hosting Diane O’Toole, Executive Director of Boston Center for Pregnancy Choices on Wednesday, November 9th at 12:30 pm at Harvard Law School, 1585 Mass Avenue, Room WCC 3007, 3007, Cambridge.  Diane’s topic will be “Loving Them Both: Pro-Life Pregnancy Centers Today”.   They are especially under attack here in Massachusetts as the legislature has allocated 1 million dollars on a smear campaign against them, with Elizabeth Warren and Maura Healey leading the assault.

Pictures from our last events are attached.  Fr. Edward Riley led the Concluding Celebration for Life on Sunday, November 6th.   Nearly 40 people attended.  We were challenged by a heckler for over 20 minutes, but everyone maintained a peaceful and prayerful presence.  Sadly, the heckler was post-abortive and rebuked a number of attempts by those offering assistance.

We have a large and faithful Hispanic group which prays at Planned Parenthood on Saturday mornings.  It tends to be composed of young families who bring their children to pray. Some of the leaders were in attendance on Sunday and sang some of the Divine Mercy Chaplet in Spanish.

Please mark you calendars and keep praying for Life!  The next March for Life in DC will be on Friday, January 20th.   Check here for details: https://marchforlife.org/national-march-for-life/  .  The theme of the 50th annual march — which will take place on Jan. 20, 2023 — titled “Next Steps: Marching in a Post-Roe America,” seeks to orient the national pro-life movement as it moves to dismantle abortion across all 50 states.

Take heart, my friends.  We are winning!

God bless you.

United for life,

Rita
