Ministry - The Power to
Change the World
Holy Spirit Institute of Boston (HSIB) is pleased to announce
its Fall 2017 course offering entitled, Ministry - The Power to Change the
World. This 6 week course has been developed to enable the students t
o see ministry in a new light. There is a war going on and we are all
involved in it, whether we want to be or not. God
has a role for us to
play and we are essential to his plan, but we need to see our role wi
th his perspective so we can do our part.
Students will learn:
• What God’s plan is
to change the world.
• How we fit into that plan.
• What are the 4 steps God takes
to prepare us for our role.
• Why our involvement in ministry is essential to C
hrist’s plan.
• How to minister from strength rather than need.
• How to appl
y ministry in real life – practical considerations.
• How to focus on the
final objective.
We strongly encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity to pa
rticipate in this course which will combine short teacher-led instruction,
interactive group activities and collaborative learning experiences.
All class members will be active participants since all have valuable ideas
, experiences and/or questions to share with the group.
Bring a bag lunch with
you. Coffee, donuts, and a small afternoon snack are provided. For addition
