 or Christian Unity, is organizing a Pentecost Ecumenical Vigil: Saturday, M
 ay 22, 2021, 22:00 (Rome time).\n\n\nThis online Vigil will take place live
  from 4 iconic locations around the world: we will begin in Rome and end in
  Jerusalem, via Buenos Aires. \n\n\nIn each of these cities, we will b
 e led in prayer by Christians of different Churches and communities. All to
 gether we will pray to the Holy Spirit for a new Pentecost on the world. It
  will be an unforgettable moment to be able to pray together as Jesus himse
 lf asked the Father for us (Jn 17,21). \n\n\nWe will have the joy to i
 nvoke the Holy Spirit in Jerusalem, the same city where the first Pentecost
   took place.\n\n\nWe will also have other guests.\n\n\nReserve y
 our spot and spread the word around you! This will be an unforgettable even
 t!\n\n\nLet us join with one another in preparing for Pentecost\n\n\nAs we 
 are quickly approaching Easter, CHARIS is actively preparing the next Pente
 cost celebration.\n\n\nIn this year in which we celebrate the 120th anniver
 sary of the first baptism in the Spirit in Topeka, Kansas, we invite all Ch
 ristians that wish to join us in invoking the Holy Spirit on the Church and
  the world. \n\n\nWe would like to remind you that in preparation for 
 the first Pentecost, the disciples gathered and ‘All these devoted themselv
 es with one accord to prayer, together with some women, and Mary the mother
  of Jesus, and his brothers’ (Acts 1:14).  This is the unity that
  we propose to live by praying with one accord, knowing that the Holy Spiri
 t will not resist the pull of that communion of hearts.\n\n\nTo this end, C
 HARIS has prepared two stages:\n\n -  A week of prayer\n\nscheduled from Su
 nday May 16th and Saturday May 22nd. We propose a prayer itinerary based on
  the Word of God. It is going to be a simple itinerary, which each of us is
  called to supplement as they wish according to the opportunities emerging 
 in their daily lives. Every day it will be possible to meditate on a Biblic
 al text concerning the Holy Spirit, to pray for the unity of Christians and
  invoke the Holy Spirit.\n\n\nThe present proposal will be available on the
  CHARIS website, as well as day by day on our Facebook and Instagram pages 
 as we approach Pentecost Day.\n\n -  An Ecumenical Vigil \n\nscheduled
  for Saturday May 22nd (Rome time), as a great moment of fully ecumenical p
 rayer broadcast live from 4 cities in the world to invoke the Holy Spirit:\
 n\n - Rome, a prayer guided by the CHARIS National Service of Communion Ita
 ly,\n - Topeka, an ecumenical prayer where the first baptism in the Spirit 
 took place on January 1st 1901,\n - Buenos Aires with CRECES (Comunión Reno
 vada de Evangélicos y Católicos en el Espíritu Santo; the Renewed Communion
  of Lutheran and Catholic Christians in the Holy Spirit), the ecumenical gr
 oup that Cardinal Bergoglio joined for a number of years and had a propheti
 c role to play in the work done for the unity of Christians,\n - Jerusalem,
  the city where the first Pentecost took place, with a group of Christians 
 including Messianic Jews.\n\nWe are also going to have some special guests 
 whose names will be announced soon.\n\n\nThis Vigil will be available in di
 fferent languages and on various channels: Youtube, Facebook etc. \n\n

 eat moment of unity in prayer to respond to the wish expressed by Jesus him
 self: ‘so that they may all be one, as you, Father, are in me and I in you,
