CRSB NEWSLETTER   JULY 2017

Greetings Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Give thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.Ephesians 5:20

We are called to be a thankful people, but especially during this month which commemorates the birth of our nation and freedom to all. Reflecting on July 4th, we are reminded of how much we have to be grateful for. Especially for all the sacrifices made by so many for the liberties and freedoms we all enjoy today. Practicing gratitude means that sometimes we must be grateful even when we are unsure of an outcome, trusting. When we are grounded in the certainty of Gods goodness and the steadfastness of Gods love, and gratefulness permeates our thoughts, words and relationships, our world is changed, and with it our lives. We have no one but God to thank for the freedom we enjoy today.

Stand fast therefore in the Liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with yoke of bondage. Galatians 5:1

We continue to joyfully celebrate the Golden Jubilee Year 2017, which marks 50 years of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal. The 50tAnniversary commemorates the outpouring of the Holy Spirit amongst college students and professors on the Duquesne Weekend in February 1967 at The Ark and The Dove Retreat House near Pittsburgh, PA.
